Weight: ????
Workout: 30 Minutes Treadmill Well I decided to try one of the preset routines on the treadmill. I told it my max speed and incline. Apparently though my ankles do not like inclined running. I had to slow it down to a brisk walk after that. Stretching later made my ankle feel much better. I should have gone swimming. I am thinking about moving my running day to friday. I think running on wednesday is just too draining right now and I wind up not getting good workouts on Thursday and Friday. |

I took it easy today. I think the running really wears me out. So I
only did two circuits and walked on the treadmill today. However I
did one of the preset routines that made the treadmill go up and down
and change speeds and stuff. It was kinda fun. I'm debating running
again tomorrow or going swimming. Not sure which though.

Weight: ???
Workout: 30 Minutes Treadmill 3 Circuits Phew! I ran for fifteen minutes this morning. That puts me at just about 1.25 miles. Not too shabby. I think I will try to do 15 minutes for the next 2 weeks then go to 17.5. On another note: Listening to the news this morning brought about an interesting thought. I did not hear the full story but this is what I got. Apparently the gubmint is currently debating lifting an embargo against China that was put in place after tianamen square. One fo the pundidiots they had on said that the main concern about lifting the embargo would be the transfer of technology that could happen to china. Pardon me if I'm just ignorant here, but isn't this a bit silly. China currently produces a large portion of all consumer goods in this country, including tech stuff. The Chinese army is huge and is well funded. Every year thousands of chinese students come to our Universities to study a broad range of topics like Computer Science, Nuclear Engineering, Biology, Physics, Medecine, etc etc etc. But don't give them any more tech that would be terrible. To think that they are incapable of developing all off this dangerous "technology" is patently ridiculous. Perhaps the main concern should be that the human rights violations and lack of democracy are currently just as bad if not worse than when tianamen square took place. But good lord don't let them have any of our weapons technology..... |

Well today was a little better. There were less of the scary tan
people. I feel pretty good today. I did not feel as exhausted as I
usually do when I get done on the X-Trainer. I guess that counts as
progress!

Weight: 235
Well it appears that a flock of tanorexic state farmettes have invaded
Golds Gym. They are extremely annoying. It took way to long to
finish my circuits this morning. Apparently a part of their work out
involves cackleing and screeching like 12 year olds. They are
fortunate that we were not in the free weight area as I most likely
would have started swinging one of the large weight bars at them.
Only ran a little this morning. All the X-trainers and elipticals
were busy and I didn't feel like doing the bike. Hopefully tomorrow
will be better.

Weight: ????
Workout: 30 Minutes Treadmill 3 Circuits Managed to run a mile again today. was going to try and go for a time but I didn't pay attention when I started running and didn't know how long I had been running. So I stopped at a mile. I feel pretty good though. The flowers came last night at 5:45 ish. Some poor guy shows up with his kids in tow and rings the doorbell. I answer and he asks if I am my wife. I respond no I'm here husband and tried to do the whole "THANK GOD THESE CAME!!! " speil but before I can open my mouth he says Here! and shoves the vase at me, grabs his kid an stalks off to his car. I think it important to point out that these flowers do not appear to have been sitting around for a day waiting to be delivered Still no word from ftd Many people have suggested that I ignore ftd.com and go with local florists. I don't like that idea. The reason I started using ftd.com all those years ago is because I don't have to put up with the locals...or their prices. 5 years ago i went to a local florist 2 weeks prior to V day. Mind you this is our first wedding anniversary as well. I request that 1 dozen roses and some other stuff get delivered on valentines day. To which the fine florist ( the owner of the shop no less) looks at me and says : "NO we cant do Valentines day you must place those orders at least 1.5 months in advance" I responded with a you're joking right? That didn't go over too well. In fact in her response she let me know that none of the local florists were still taking orders and that I should plan better next time yadda yadda yadda. Angered I went on line and order my dozen roses( for $10 less even!) and candy and stuff for delivery on the 14th. Amazingly ftd.com has no issue with this. And on Valentines Day the same florist, the owner of which yelled at me!, delivered the roses to my wife. I was torn between being mad that my money went to that florist and being happy that they had to deliver to me after all. by using ftd.com or calling 1-800-ftd you are in fact using a local florist and in many cases getting a better price to boot. And I don't have to deal with rude flower nazis |

Here is the response from ftd:
Dear Customer: Thank you for you inquiry regarding your recent purchase from FTD.COM. We are pleased to report that we have received your order and it has been processed for delivery on 02/14/2005. When we receive confirmation of delivery from our florist we will contact you. If you have questions regarding your FTD.COM order or would like to speak with a Customer Service Representative, reply to this email or dial 1-800-SEND-FTD (1-800-736-3383). We are here to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thank you for choosing FTD.COM. So do they have a time machine or what? My response: Are you kidding? How will this be delivered yesterday? My wife is quite upset. My back hurts now from having to sleep on the couch. Would a phone call have been too much to ask? At this point I may require a refund to pay for the divorce lawyer! I can only hope my keys still work when I get home tonight. |

Weight: 233.0!!
Wow!!! I broke down and posted the weight today. 233.0 yowza for a
second I was 232.8 but then it settled at 233. Seems like something
is working for me. I had to make two stops on the way to work this
morning because I'm an idiot. I stopped at my usual huck's for coffee
and got some juice and soda too. Then as I got in my car it dawned on
me that I forgot to bring anything for breakfast! So I stopped down
the street at the amoco/BP station and picked up a Met-Rx ProteinPlus
bar. arrrgh arrrgh I think this might be all I need to eat today.
