Ran 5 walked 4 x3 then also ran the last three minutes to fill out the half hour on the treadmill. Will probably be exhausted later.

My manager told us yesterday that he is leaving for a year sabbatical on the 16th. Not sure if I should be freaking out just yet. He's been a really good boss. He's been in his current position for a long while though and I think he's a bit burnt out. Jen pointed out that I've mentioned a few times recently that he seemed to be somewhat checked out. So hopefully this is good for him.

${employer} has appeared to handle stuff like this pretty well in the past. My boss and I discussed me going into management at some point(pre-pandemic) and he said he passed that along. Not saying I'll be promoted but at least my hat is in the ring. His current boss is in Ireland(also a temp backfill for a person on sabbatical) so I would be up for helping out with stuff in a local timezone.

Change is still the only constant i guess.
