Got back on the stepper today, decided it might be good to go back down to level 4. It was not bad. We'll see how I feel in the morning.

Having a frustrating time at work the last couple days. apache's commons-http library is not behaving well for us. It is used by spring-web services to call a web service. Our issue lies in that the http request for the call does not include a charset header in the content-type. This causes the CICS transaction server to choke. The frustrating thing is that this only happens on the server. On our workstations the charset is passed as expected. On the server not so much. This has led me to believe that there is a difference in the way the library behaves on linux vs windows. Which is odd since outside of base OS the setups are identical. This is really quite frustrating.
