Things were pretty crazy with the kids at bedtime last night. Owen was extra tired I think it was because he missed his pre-dinner nap. He was out as soon as I started to rock him. That gave me enough time to give Cecilia her bath and get her into her pj's. Then in the middle of the clifford book(A Bean standard) Owen woke up. Or should I say OWEN WOKE UP!!!!!! He was really screaming and not at all happy. I told Cecilia that I was going to get Owen back to sleep and that we could finish books after that. I went to get Owen. He did not want any of the bottle I had for him and was hysterical. After about 15 minutes the Bean started to cry too. I put owen in his crib to settle down and went back to the Bean. I told her it was time to rock and snuggle which did not make her happy. She wanted to read more books. I told her that Owen was having trouble going to sleep and we could rock for a while but then she would have to get in the crib and go to sleep. That calmed her down a little. She was sniffling when I put yher int he crib though. Back to Owen. He finally settled down. I even got him to take about an ounce from the bottle. He fell back asleep. The Bean was up again at that point so I went a rocked her for a little while. At that point everyone was asleep and I was a wreck. 6:15-8:15. I think it went down like that because I told Cecilia that with Owen going to bed like that things should go well tonight.
