Weight: 210 Workout: 30 Minute Walk Reading about New Orleans has gotten too depressing. Police and Firefighters looting,Federal planning is almost non-existant, Rape,Pillage,Looting. 4 years ago the country came together after 9/11 and showed that we were, at that point, good people who did whatever we could to help in times of crisis. The people of NYC pulled together and helped each other to get back on their feet. Now in times of crisis it seems we turn into animals and live out Mad Max. Its disgusting, and unforgivable. Many people are pointing fingers at the current administration and choices they have made and the way the situation is being handled. While that too has shown to be a circus the people in the areas affected should also be ashamed of themselves. Blaming the failures of the system in this situation for unspeakable behavior is even more dispicable than fiddling while rome burns. Rather than trampling the ruined wasteland that the area has become perhaps they could be decent human beings and try to help each other. It's just sad.
