| Get a Move On |

Weight: 245
I've got a gripe today. The gym has a set of nine machines that are
set up for people who want to do circuit training. The idea being
that you go from machine to machine and do ONE set at each. There is
a sign posted explaining this and it specifically states that you
should not spend more than two minutes at each station. To me this
seems like a fairly simple concept. Do your 10-15 reps and move on.
That way everyone gets to do their workout with little hassle.
Unfortunately there appears to be some undiscovered acting talent at
the gym who insist on sitting at the stations looking to be in serious
thought as they wait to do a second set of repitions. WTF! This is
not rocket science. push the bar up let it down breath through the
rep. Don't sit there and calculate the exact resistance using
Planck's friggin constant and how to optimize aerobic v anerobic
stressors! Also if your not doing the circuit training use one of the
100,000 other machines. It's not like that is the only curl machine
in the place.
I have no issues with someone doing the occasional grunt while lifting weights that's natural. Your lifting something heavy its OK to say "EERRRRRRRRR". But for Pete's sake don't sit there looking like Rodin's thinker afterwords. Get up and move so the other people can have a turn.
